I have always been passionate about supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact, particularly small businesses and faith-based groups. Growing up in a family deeply involved in nonprofit work, I developed a strong desire to help organizations function more effectively and achieve their vision.
With over 20 years of experience in operations, leadership, and organization development, I specialize in creating systems and processes that help organizations maximize their resources and reach their goals. I have spent the last seven years as an OD consultant.
Before moving to the Phoenix area, my husband and I served as church leaders in Southern California for more than a decade. Since relocating, I have continued my ministry involvement, stepping into leadership roles during times of transition and helping churches and faith-based organizations navigate growth and change.
I’m the proud mom to a house full of strong young women, a former foster parent, and a passionately over-committed volunteer for several great nonprofits. Currently I chair the board of The Welcome to America Project, a nonprofit that connects newly arrived refugees with basic necessities, a warm welcome and career transition support. I hold a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Development from Fielding Graduate University.
Meet Liz
If I were to sum up my approach in two words, they would be “listening” and “collaborative.” I believe those closest to the challenge or opportunity often have the best chance of solving it, and that leveraging our collective strengths yields the best results. I work to ensure all voices are heard and that decisions are made with your unique strengths and priorities in mind.
My Approach
Tools I Use
Data Collection and Analysis
Data collection and analysis are critical to understanding the true needs and dynamics of an organization. By collecting quantitative and qualitative data—such as surveys, interviews, observations, and process reviews—we can identify patterns, uncover hidden challenges, and highlight areas for growth.
This approach not only improves the accuracy of our recommendations but also fosters a deeper understanding among those involved, ensuring that everyone is aligned and invested in the path forward.
Appreciative Inquiry
Appreciative Inquiry is a powerful method that focuses on discovering and building upon what’s already working well within an organization. By asking questions that highlight past achievements and potential, we can inspire creativity, boost morale, and create a shared vision for the future. Appreciative Inquiry fosters a collaborative, solution-focused mindset that energizes teams and drives meaningful, lasting change.
Change Management Techniques
Change management is a structured approach to navigating organizational change, ensuring that transitions are smooth, well-communicated, and positively embraced by all involved. Whether it's adapting to new processes, leadership transitions, or shifting strategies, effective change management helps minimize disruption and maximize buy-in. By engaging participants early, addressing concerns, and providing ongoing support, change management empowers teams to embrace change with confidence and resilience, assuring long-term success and alignment with organizational goals.
